This is off of my 2011 Ram 1500 with a 5.7 Hemi

5,433 miles on the oil and this filter over a period of 5 months. Just an FYI, the oil was Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W20

I’ll yield the floor to the filter experts.

No shiny, metallic pieces discovered while searching the media under a light and out in the sunlight.

My truck has been short tripped most of its life, but I’ve been keeping the roads hot over the last several months. It’s possible that the oil has a better chance of cleaning since it’s been ran at operating temps for extended periods.
That’s my guess. It seems to be a logical conclusion.
