Upgraded to a new (used) lawn mower!

A note about the personal pace - make sure the tension mechanism is kept taut so that it actually engages at full "push". Over time, the control cable and the belt can stretch, which means you need to adjust the position of the ferrule holder thing.

I’m still rockin my 1998 JD JX75 with the Kawasaki FC150V and TuffTorq 5 speed, aluminum deck, blade brake clutch, pressure oiled engine ( an oil filter on a push mower just looks cool ) and still starts and runs great. I gave $70 for it used about 10 years ago.

And, the deck is aluminum so no rust!
It won't "rust", but the aluminum alloy formulation Toro uses does corrode, it gradually turns to white dust. If the engine and drive system receive some occasional maintenance, the corrosion is what will eventually render the mower unusable.

Soda blast the deck and powder coat every 10-20 years.
