Updated Castrol EDGE w/Titanium PDS

I just heard from a buddy who called Castrol and questioned the PDS sheet for accuracy. He said Edge Syntec 0W20 looks better than the top of the line Edge 0W20 with Titanium. He asked why "Product Data – Castrol GTX High Mileage" appeared on some of the Edge Titanium PDS pages, and about the lousy pour point. They were stumped, and told him they'd look into it. He said they were eager to listen and very polite.
I turned him onto Edge 0W20, and he is quite pleased with it. He did say he'd look into it and contact them, which he did. Lets see what happens.

I used to like Castrol, but after I began to understand that their data sheets basically just say "Yeah, it meets the minimum specs.", I lost interest in their products.

Bit of a thread dredge, sorry. I've been looking at the Castrol Australia PDS for Edge Ti 5w30 & it actually lists some numbers. The HTHS is pretty but good the VI is quiet low compared to other oils of similar spec.

HTHS @ 150° - 3.6

Same here, IMO their Edge 0W20 [Gold bottle] SM was great. They killed it with the move to SN. Once my stash is gone I'm done with Castrol.
