Recently bought a used 2018 motorhome on a Ford chassis with the gas V10 in it, 11K mikes. The RV dealership said they just changed the oil so I drove it approx 1000 miles back home. While underneath doing a chassis lube I noticed the oil filter...white, with no markings identifying who who the manufacturer is? Nor did I know what oil they used, so I proceeded to change the oil and filter.

Just curious, does anyone know who the manufacturer was of that unmarked white filter?
Thanks,
Tom

"Unmarked white filter", not enough information for me to venture a guess. Since changed, pics of filter internals would make an educated guess more possible.

In all likelihood the dealer didn't change the filter at all.

He wiped the existing filter down to clean it.

Hopefully he changed the oil in the sump.

Please see past my skepticism.

Nope but people will probably throw out names

The ADBV and baseplate give the clues, did you ask the RV dealership what filter they used? Personally would not trust a filter that does not put their name on it.

I'm wondering if you have the filter on that came from the factory.
Still, I'd change it and you'll sleep better.

Yeah I wonder... that's why I changed the oil and filter and moved on. Not worth working about it for 100;grand moterhone! Just wondered if anyone knew of RV dealership oil/filter change shinanigans?
