Nope DC metro area so full range of seasons and traffic on top of that. It really hasn’t been babied in any way.

Probable right. After I posted, I saw another post mentioning limited cold 'short tripping'. I calculated average miles per year and think that too a factor. I have an 07 3.0L w ~126k mi., average ~5k mi a year w lowest price full syn at the time. Looking down fill hole, while it looks good much more like the left side than right. The more time at operating temps the better. If experience tells me anything about topic Civic, this engine will outlast many of the other parts and pieces of the vehicle.
