Wow, this one beats adblock+ and adguard for Firefox hands down. It uses the same filter lists but it's much lower on CPU and memory usage. Adblock+ has been real memory hog on Firefox 39 for me. With Fanboys ultimate list, Firefox would use about 400K of ram from a cold start with my 2 homepages loaded. It's 241K with Ublock!!!

Give it a try.

Apparently ublock origin is better from what I read.

I've been using it for awhile now, I like it! I'm also using this on Chrome.

Thanks. I've been using Adguard, but it was slowing down my Amazon browsing as of late. It seems to be faster with ublock origin.

I already found issue with it Drew. I use Detroit News for my homepage and the entire right side is gone. All that remains are the words "Right Now" and the small loading spinning wheel below it. The rest is blank. How do I get those newspaper articles back on-screen?

You can whitelist that site.

It renders fine on mine.

I clicked to disable the Detroit News blocker. Then I enabled the UBlock default and tried the homepage again.
It's fine now - seeing all those right-side articles again and my computer-surfing is definitely faster now.

I down loaded this one after disabled Add Blocker Plus, seems my ancient 8-10 years old laptop is running faster now.

Thank You Drew.

My issue with the spinning wheel (working wheel) is still happening on the right side of my Detroit News homepage. The entire right-side is blank, where before it displayed newspaper article headlines. The only way to eliminate it, is to disable UBlock on my homepage. That means ads and popups return.

That's the only website I found on my computer so far, that's creating havoc with UBLock. No I'm not changing my homepage. I read the newspaper every day online - so does my wife.

But man'-O'-man, my computer definitely surfs faster now. I prefer to keep UBlock, if possible.

Triple, I'm observing the same issue right now, too.

Maybe you can send those Ublock guys some feedback so that they can address it in the next release.

Now some of my promotional emails from retail stores or restaurants aren't opening. But they open once I disable UBlock running on that webpage.

My patience and my allowance threshhold are running real thin right now.

I tossed the UBlock and installed Adblock Lite. Everything works again and everything appears blocked.

Not quite as computer-responsive as UBlock, but web surfing is improved over Adblock Plus.

I tried it in the past.. had too many random issues.

Back to adblock plus, my computer isnt slow so its not a big deal.

I have been a uBlock user since it came out on chrome. I use it with both Chrome and Firefox and I have yet to see an issue with it. It has a ton of settings so if something is not working right, change lists/options.

There is no way to change 1/3rd of a webpage on Detroit News. No way to bring back those articles missing, unlesss I disable the UBlock on the entire homepage.

I have since dismissed Adblock Lite after finding ads at various muzzleloader websites I visit. I am now trying my last resort..... U Adblock. I have tried several since removing Adblock Plus. If this one eventually fails, then back to Adblock Plus I go.

BTW.... in due respect to this website, I disable my adblock add-on. Like right at this moment, Pennzoil Platinum Euro is being advertised at the top of the page.

The behavior of Ublock on that Detroit News page is really puzzling. Today it is displaying that right panel once again for me, but yesterday it wasn't. I haven't really been able determine what that depends on...
