Out of the two compressors which one is my best bet? 13 Edge. Denso is going to take too long to get here. I'm looking for people who have used them out of experience.. preferably recently.. I know I'm asking a lot..
LOL

Installed a UAC {kit from Rockauto] in April. 1k miles a week in Texas heat. Runs all day 8-6 . Courier vehicle. Happy so far. No unusual noise.

I ordered a UAC compressor tonight, I feel confident with it.. it was only $80 more than a salvage yard compressor with over 100k on it.
Thank you Guys 👍

Denso is the OES for this application and the compressor itself is U.S. made. However, they are difficult to find right now in a Denso box; if you want one in a Motorcraft box, they are available - albeit with a $100 premium for the Motorcraft name.

I don't know where the UAC is made, but I would pick that over the Four Seasons.

Yeah I chose the UAC, seems like a lot of people do.. it's brand new.. the reviews I found on them seem pretty positive.

If those were my only option I would go with uac. Four seasons is called four seizing for a reason
That’s funny. I have one of their R-4 units in service now, no issues. I would have said four seasons based upon good experiences, but this is good to know!

Still. I’ll take a new Chinesium(or Korean) UAC/GPD any day of the week if OE isn’t an option.
Originally I was going to order the Denso, but it wasn't going to get here until after I was leaving, everything for vacation. And me having COPD and asthma I definitely need it in this heat.

New Chinesium > remans from Mexico.

I watched Rayman Ray’s latest video where he installed a Mexican reman, cringe.
That one that was painted black, I think in a Ford Escape? I've been meaning to read the comments to see if he got roasted for it.
And the belt was too short because the AC pulley diameter was larger and he forces the belt on anyway.

I believe I seen the black compressors on eBay.
