______
ummm does the stuff work cuz i really dont like changin oil since i live in an apt i have like no where to do it but umm fram ultra gaurd 7 k protection but does the oil work???or is it just a waste???i was prolly gonna just go 10 K since im sure i will vtec sometimes but it says its good for 15 K or 1 year w/e comes first
My polite and helpfull response...
If you don't like changing your oil, great use it out to 12k or so. conventional SM-spec oil can go 6000-8000 miles for much less money...and it WORKS THE SAME. More changes for the same money equals a cleaner engine, imo. Motorcraft, Havoline, Castrol GTX, Mobil Clean all great conventional oils. In many people's experience, Mobil 1 makes engines a bit noisy, I have experienced it too. If you have a Type-S and want the best oil available, grab some German Syntec 0w-30. It has real mfg specs for 18,000 miles (30,000km)...Porsche Approval is no joke. It has a unique base oil chemistry, crazy stuff. I would use Pennzoil Platinum over Mobil 1. German Syntec is too thick for my Base, it's ideal for a Type-S, a thick 30 that does not shear. PS- AutoZone is the only place that carries German Syntec. Trust me.

ummm yea nobody really anwserd my question does it fing work or not **** i dont give a *hit bout that guys dumb *** german f**kin oil jebus ******
I had enough....
Dude, no offense, but you sound like an idiot. If you took the time to read the post, you'd see that your question was answered in the first scentence. Is Mobil 1 Extended Performance good? It's ok. Will it go 15k? There is a Mobil warranty that says so, but why push it? Will it give the best possible result, no. Is it worth the money? No. Is there better oil out there for the same money? I described one...but you think it's "dumb ***". Well fyi, European oils far exceed what's generally available in the USA. Over there they pay $20-$25 a litre for the same sh*t you can get at AutoZone for under $5. How clear does this have to be for your grade-school brain to get it? Don't be such a stupid f**king spaz and you might get somewhere in life.
Unreal.
