Tux rental "Please treat this as if it is yours..."

I had to rent a tuxedo (gag) and I found it humorous that on the paperwork, it was printed:

"Please treat this tuxedo as if it were yours..."

I pointed to that on the paperwork, and told the lady who had just handed it over to me... "No ma'am.... you want ME to treat it like it is YOURS". If it were mine, I might just decide to change the oil in the truck while wearing it."

She was not amused.

And honest... trust me... you do NOT want to see me in a tuxedo. It wasn't my idea. I have a suit from JCPenney's that fits me just fine. LOL.

I see how most people treat their vehicles. I used to rent out a Ford Escape on Turo and I’d cringe internally every time someone says they’d treat my car as if it was theirs haha.
