hi there

I was thinking if anyone has these on your car and what would you say about them; I placed the order thru Costco this evening and they will have them on Tuesday the soonest;

I hit the curb today with my old Bridgestone Ecopia EP 422 and they were pretty worn out at 40K miles; time to move on, hopefully onto something that rides better

Sure thing

While I’m waiting on them, I can tell you that Bridgestone Ecopia did not live up to its task; they worn out sooner than the warranty predicted at 70K. Once I hit that 40k mark they needed to be replaced pretty much; very poor tire in my experience, with braking distance much longer than when they were a bland new

I wanted Micheline this time around, but they will be discounted next month so I settled with Bridgestone again

ney;

I got to correct myself here; I've bough used Michelin in very good condition of FB Marketplace, I could not wait for Costco to get the tires

now I need to mount and balance these somewhere sometime tomorrow

I plan to do alignment too

in the end this is what I got; totaling $350 with installation and balancing, now ill look for an alignment place

Bridgestone Quiet track I was quoted at Costco $800, the very same tire anywhere else is $1000.00 minimum

I think that you're going to love the Primacy MXV4. They may be a bit softer in the corners than what you're used to but, they're really a nice tire. The Primacy MXV4 came OE on the Altima in my signature and were a very strong consideration(AGAIN) when I was looking for tires in 2020 along with several others. The MXV4 may be the smoothest/quietest tires I've ever owned.
*Are your's 93V or 94V?
*93 V is OE and 94 V is aftermarket.

I have the exact same size as you and ended up with Pirelli P7 Cintruato A/S +(215-55-17 94V) because they were on close out in my exact size & speed rating along with only a few other sizes. So, I couldn't pass up the price @ $103/ea.

But I was also considering:

Bridgestone Turanza Quietrack
Continental True Contact TOUR
**Those Primacy MXV4
**Good/Year Assurance Comfortead/Comfortdrive
**The P7 that I bought
**and on the lower end of the price scale General Altimax RT43

**I've owned these in the past as well

I really wanted to go with Micheline at Costco but they were not on promotion; the promotion it will start next month

I've had these too before so I was familiar with the tire; these are 94V, made in Canada, and produced in 2019, hence its price at the discount

very nice tire nonetheless

I got them through Discount Tire about 15 months ago for my 2013 Avalon hybrid. Love them. Have had at least two flavors of Michelin on the car prior, and like these best.

OE spec Primacy’s? No idea what you have.

Which was sorta my point - if this is the OE version of the Primacy MXV4, the performance properties may have little or no relation to the aftermarket version.
I understand 🙂

I had the tire before and it’s a great handling\touring tire

I finally rode in my sons civic with the quiettrack tires. This car has low profile tires, maybe 40 series, in a minimally-insulated cabin, a noisy and rowdy combination. The tires are very good feeling and mannered tire. Stable, quiet, absorb a lot of road rumble. if these tires can maintain their rain performance over time, they will have an excellent tire on their hands.

When I was looking at new vehicles at that time(2014-2016), any make/any vehicle that were shod with 215-55-17 and using Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires were 93V

In the OPs size, the OE version is 93V and the aftermarket version is 94V. I have no idea what the performance, fuel economy, ride/quiet or longevity differences are between the two tires. I had the OE 93V version on my Altima and the were the smoothest, quietest and best riding tire(I believe) that I've ever had.
