Trying to narrow down rear end clunk

Last year on my '09 Accord, I had a rear end clunk. It turned out to be a completely dry strut, so I replaced that and the rear sounded great.

Fast forward to now, the rear of my car feels loose and I have a clunk. I'm trying to think of all of the things to check on the car. This past summer I replaced the lower control arm with an adjustable one to combat an odd camber issue that I had. A few weeks ago I got under the car and shook these arms but did not/could not reproduce any clunk. Perhaps since the suspension was loaded with the weight of the car, I wouldn't have heard anything?

So... I'm going to check:

Rear sway bar end links
Rear sway bar bushings
Adjustable control arm
Other control arms
Struts again
Maybe strut mount??

check nut on top of strut that goes to the mount. can get loose make alot of noise.

Is the rear suspension on the 09 as complicated as an 05? I was amazed at the complexity of it! Makes the car ride and handle nicely, though.

Is this the same suspension on your USDM Accord? Or is this just the TSX Accord?

From the diagram it looks like, excluding the shock and shock mount, that there are an additional 10 points of potential failure.

I was thinking that as well.

From what I recall it seemed pretty light but with it all loaded up who knows. You were probably still under the towing limit. Plus it didn't seem all weighed down in the rear.
