Here's Klasse All-In-One followed by Clearkote Vanilla Moose Glaze finally topped (protected) with Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant

Figured if I can spend the $$ on the best fluid/filters for my motor why not do the same for the paint which cost more then a rebuilt motor. Not bad for white 11 yr old paint

Looks NICE!!!!!

Almost as shiny as my white truck with Liquid Glass and 303 Aerospace Protectant.

Edit that combo is Klasse All-in-one and toped with Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant.

Looks good. I use VM or AIO and EXP on my white car.
The Klasse Twins mentioned above are a very nice combo for white! White is a tough color to make pop.

I like the pics and the off topic info. But I,d like to hear more chime in with their experience about NF. That is after all what this thread is about.

I use Nu Finish and other waxes. Nu Finish seems to last longer (as shown by the water beads) but I found that other waxes (Meg/TW, ect) seem to produce a deeper shine initially, and bead water better initially, but after three or four cars washes, no more beads for the waxes, while NuFinish seems to keep beading longer. Does that mean that the NuFinish protects the finish longer? I really can't say.

Ok, I'm on a "try a new product" binge. I just ordered some Wet Paint Glaze that I read about in another thread. I'm looking to take the shine and gloss of my paint to a new level even better than NuFinish. I think I'm becoming more fanatical, not snobish. I was searching through old thread titles looking for the best ptoduct to remove water spots on glass and out of curiosity I clicked on a thread about Wet Paint Glaze. I went to their website and it looked like something I need to try so I just ordered some. After I try it I will report the results, hope fully with pictures.

I haven't waxed a vehicle before, but now that I have a new ride I think I'll try the NuFinish. I'm not going to the car show and a once a year application sounds good to a guy looking for a little protection with minimal effort. Do you guys all use the clay bar before applying?

Used NuFinish off and on for years. Decent product. It may be a wee bit "harsh" for a brand new vehicle....but that is a subjective feeeeeeeeling with no logical replicable evidence to back that feeeeeeeeling.

NuFinish seems a tad bit "chemically" to me. Is that a word...."chemically"??? Should it be "chemicalish"?? Perhaps "chemical-like to an extreme"??? I don't know!!!! Arrrrggghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

Ouch!!!!! Just heard on the radio a farmer was found deceased. His bean harvester ate him. Ugghhh. They keep taking chances to save a few minutes.....instead of shutting down and clearing a jammed input chute or whatever.... they keep taking the same chances and it catches up with too many. You fine folks discussed under-car safety and likely take appropriate steps to ensure safety vice saving a few moments and paying the price.

Okay.... back to coating the car....

If I had a brand new vehicle I would stay away from NuFinish. After your paint has suffered some wear and tear I would use the stuff if ye determined NuFinish met yer' cover-the-paint wants and needs.

With a very limitied knowledge base I offer the following SUBJECTIVE OPINION (vice the horde of humans who bellow out as if they are the oracle of whatever topic is being discussed)..... I would use Liquid Glass vice NuFinish. Or....though this product/procedure is still in the experimental stage, again in my opinion.... just use 303 Aerospace Protectant and nuthin' else. Just an idea, not a suggestion. If I bought a new vehicle today I would try 303 for awhile and try to determine its effectiveness.

Or, if the Liquid Glass or 303 doesn't make your liver quiver I would peek at the other's posts and look into the Klasse stuff or some other quality concoction.

But, if you do use NuFinish....it does seem to provide at least decent protection. One report declared that the paste-type NuFinish offered longer protection than the liquid stuff. The paste is harder to find. I have used both but couldn't ascertain if one or the udder lasted longer or worked better.

COnsidering the extremely broad expanse of our universe and the BILLIONS of years in the past and who knows how many BILLIONS or TRILLIONS of years ahead for the vast universe....the extemely brief period...not even an eyeblink of time compared to the time totality.... it is likely that ANY product sold to protect the paint is better than no protection at all.

I use the paste and it lasts quite a long time.
I usually do it in Sept/Oct and it 's still beading water in April, after a Northwest winter/Big Dark/gray season...

"The in-laws have Farm and over 12 cars and trucks. We test every wax on these vehicles that sit outside and nothing out lasts Nu Finish."

That's one of my criteria, a car that isn't a garage queen. Another is 'beading water the longest', and for the price NuFinish seems to do well. So far it seems that if you want to 'wax the car' once in awhile NuFinish is worth considering, but if you 'detail your car', perhaps using 3 or 5 products instead of just a 'wax', then you should look elsewhere as you won't get any respect from other detailers.

Nu Finish, the Rodney Dangerfield of car polishes.

Put in on my 2006 Matrix. Put it on my 1999 Prizm. Paint and clear coat are chemicals too.

Hey I put it on the head and tail lamps for the UV protection. Why not. It's a proven product.

Bought some Nu-Finish for $5.77 at Wal-Mart over the weekend and had the day off today to use it. Initial impressions were that by far it the least effort car polish I have ever used.. It goes on very easy and when wiped off left very little residue, even on very dark blue.. It removed the little specks of tar that we all have very effectively. I did the whole car in less than an hour. Dont have a digital camera, but might borrow the girlfriend's and post some pics. BTW the shine is nice.

Here are before and after pictures. The before pictures are from the dealer I bought the car from. I don't know what type of wax they used detailing the car.

I simply washed the car and put a quick coat of NuFinish on when I got home. Seemed to help make scratches and blemishes disappear and gave it a glowing wet look. Car is 1999 SLK Kompresser

Step up to a more modern product. The technology of sealants has really improved since Nu Finish was first marketed.
