That's a very nice shade of RED on that Camaro!
You might really enjoy discovering the world of hobby detailing if you like taking care of your car.
Thanks! What do you suggest I look into? Thanks again!

For me personally detailing my car is an important shore. I would never call it a hobby. SO Nufinish 2x (maybe 3x) a year fits the bill. The sun is strong here and can cook paint finish so the UV protection is a bonus![]()

One of several mentions I have found upon the Web of folks using 303 Aerospace Protectant upon paint. The link above is to a page on the 303 site.

No thanks, Cicero.
I used to use various products on my vehicles, but I'm happy now to buy a can of NuFinish for about $6 and use it twice a year. I don't care about staining the trim, because I tend to not get it on the trim.
If you can show me a product for $6 that will still bead water a year after I use it, that makes my Jeep look this good for this long, I might think about trying it. But I might not.
I'm just not into detailing. I want something that looks good, lasts a long time and isn't a hassle. NuFinish fits the bill. I have better ways to spend my time.

Not trying to talk you out of your sacred cows, but it pains me to know people don't know the detailing world has left Nu-Finish far behind.
(Also...Just wondering how many of the Nu-Finish users here know NOT to use anything but a good car soap when they wash. DAWN is for dishes. If your using dish soap no amount of NuFinish is going to save your finish. No joke. If your using Nu-Finish I bet half of you are using dish soap, too.)
UV protection in a wax or sealant is pretty standard nowdays. There are also Quick Detail products that will help maintain your shine, even a Nu-Finish shine, between waxings. They too have UV. At least the ones most people use.
If your a 3X a year Nu-Finish guy, then at some point you should polish your paint. Many better one step products are out there if you take the time to look. You want durability? Try some German made Full Moloecular Jacket...at over $40 a bottle you better believe it works great for 6-9 months (I say 12 months maybe with proper washing and care), and it blows away Nu-F in every way. On the affordable lazy guy side, you would really like Poorboys Polish With Carnauba. You can even get in on your trim and taillights and chrome...everything but the front windshield which might smudge 'cause of the carnauba. You can use in the shade or shine. It's pretty darn good. Your Nu-Finish stains certain types of trim....
Vanilla Moose or AIO may be the best overall "polishes" a casual waxer would ever need. Put on everything...outside glass, plastics, paint, chrome, rubber.... VM has SOME wax in it and AIO will seal some too but you should then apply a coat of wax or sealant. Optimum makes a spray on sealant that is soooo easy to use right after a good wash and looks SUPER.
The downside to these better products is that most are not found on the average store shelf. Most you get online. There a hundreds ofgreat products waiting to get your money out of your wallet...![]()
There are some detailing sites on this thread. You might really like what you find out there. It doesn't take any more effort to do it right. Just information, technique and then product.
Just think some of you Nu-Finish users might want to at least consider there JUST MIGHT be a better way.

Speaking of 303, I do have one issue with using it...
WHen I put it onto dashboards, etc., I find that within the next few months, my interior glass gets VERY streaked up with a relatively heavy coating of something.
Now, something in 303 needs to be a sacrificial compound to provide the excellent UV protection, and whatever it is, I believe vaporizes and recondenses on the glass. I cant see any other way for the coating of haze that I get... FWIW, I still use it.
