Tin Leg had very reasonable rates for a 2 week trip I took to SEA in 2024, medical and travel policies, everything was online, didn’t end up needing to use it, came recommended when I researched at the time.
It would depend on the destination. I have never purchased one and go a self insured. I have actually used health care abroad - cut my foot so ended up in the ED and got a few shots and stitches. Was free but it depends where you are.
