What would happen if you drained the pan via the plug,(2005 Honda Accord 6), replaced plug and started the engine but did not move? Would there be flow from the TC to the pan of more old fluid to be replaced? What trouble could this cause?

Some more oil would end up in the pan....but you would be sucking and running the pump with no fluid.....if you do this, just a couple seconds MAX, and certainly not enough time to go through the gears. Doesn't seem worth it.....but I am curious how much more fluid would come out....maybe less than a quart.

Accidently running pump dry for a few seconds during a cooler line flush is one thing. But, to purposely do it, is asking for issues.

Air won't lubricate ANY spinning parts in the transmission.

While you're at it, why not pull the engine drainplug, remove all the oil, and then run the engine to remove some more oil. Oh, common sense just kicked in.

Auto-Union already has a trademark on that.
