Open the folder that contains the files. In a separate Windows Explorer window, open the thumb drive folder you want them copied to. Select the files you want to copy and paste them on the thumb drive.

make sure you have enough space.

I first plug in the thumb drive into my computer and formate it. I then open my file that contains all my pictures that I want to copy. On the drop down menu, I select all and then find the "send to" and pick the thumb drive as the destination. Ed

Microsoft has a program called SyncToy that you can download for free and I use it for copying my files to a thumb drive. The advantage with SyncToy is once you set it up, you run it and it will only copy new files, or files that have changed since the last time you ran it. It's easy to use and a quick way to keep your files up to date.

Synctoy is good. I use it as a quick and dirty backup between my laptop, our desktop, and and my wife's laptop to sync all the photo albums. Last count it was about 23GB of photos with over 4000 images.
