2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 V8.
I have to do a transmission oil change.
Here in my country I cannot find Mopar ATF +4.
Is there any alternative?

P.S. I can notice some slippage in reverse. What is the best additive to stop transmission slippage?

what is MI? i thought that was Michigan?

Napa, Carquest, Auto-Value, Autozone, Advanced Auto, Walmart all have ATF+4 usually in House Brand or Valvoline or Castrol. Walmart carriers Super Tech ATF +4.

Im out of US right now, and ATF oils in here are very rare.

I noticed yesterday that this transmission slips when's hot.
Do you guys think I can reduce that with Lucas Transmission fix or with another similar aditive?

The predecessor to that trans was the 44RE... you have the 545RE... the 44RE would cooperate on Dex III without too much fuss. It'd shift a bit more harsh but was otherwise ok, from what I've READ.

If it's slipping, it's hurting, might not matter what you put in it. I'd put in Dex 3 BEFORE just doing an additive... you need to get the old fluid out since it is failing.

IDK if you can even find an additive to help that DEX III act like ATF+4 if the shifts are too harsh... ? lucas? lubegard black?

BEST would be an ATF+4.... but if it's slipping now, anything is better than keeping the old stuff in there. Regardless, you may be looking at a new trans some time soon... I assume this fluid is beyond old?
