Hey guys, I have an 2002 Honda Accord DX AT, is it ok or acceptable to apply a maintenance dose of ARX to the transmission fluid from Specialty Formulations? If yes, at what amount? If not, can I drain/refill 3.5 quarts of Honda ATF-Z1 and the arx for 1500 miles then flush it to apply the SF-Z1 fluid?

There's no reason for a maintenance dose with Auto-RX. I do not know exactly why, but Frank always says it's because transmissions are sealed units and are not open to combustion contamination.

Go with your 2nd option, drain/fill, add the Auto-RX and run the 1500 mile clean dose and then flush it. After that, do an Auto-RX every 100,000 miles for the transmission.
