Toyota Tacoma - changing coolant?

I have a 2002 Toyota Tacoma w/ the 3.4L V6. I change the oil and transmission fluid myself and was thinking about doing the coolant as well. Does anyone know if the Tacoma has a drain plug in the radiator? Or would I have disconnect a hose/hoses?

There is a drain plug. I have the same model.

I don't remember which side it is on but you will clearly see it. It's been awhile since I drained mine but it just so happens that I plan on doing it again this weekend. The first time I did it, I took off the front skid plate but I don't think it is really necessary and I don't plan on doing it this time. It's a piece of cake....just don't torque down too much when you tighten it back up. Remember that it's just plastic.

I have a 99 four banger Taco.
The petcock is on the passenger side.

You can not miss it. On the Denso radiators it is a white wing nut at the bottom corner of the radiator.If it has a Harrison radiator the color varies from white to black to gray. Just so everyone knows the proper name for this drain is a petcock valve. Now lets hope I spelled it correctly!

Toyota is also good and putting easy to get at block drain plugs as well! V engines often will have one on both sides while I4.I6 engines only have one on the drivers side.

Flush it with distilled to remove some sediment first with the heater on full blast. I would then run 50/50 Toyota long Life and distilled water.
