Toyota Prius rebuilder

Came across a place on our way back from Branson today. Took me a minute to comprehend what I was seeing. Never seen so many Prius in one location! Most if them were wrecked. One of those random places you come across in the middle of no where. I know there’s some into Prius’s on here.

Yeah there's a "normal" used car dealer next town over from me that also scraps and rebuilds a bunch of Prii. Run by Eastern Europeans, I go in to the parts desk then they call a guy who meets me and takes cash, LOL.

I looked up Crane, not close to any huge population centers, so it's not like it's supporting a taxicab operation. Probably just started buy a guy who "gets" those cars and made something of himself.

When I used to live in the Seattle area, there was a corner near a busy intersection In Tacoma that had a lot of 4th gen Taurus. Not sure why but pretty cool to see all of them. I suppose that some Prius is keeping them as spare parts or so.

I hope he transitions to Camry Hybrids and RAV4 hybrids soon. There are very few Prius left around here; it seems like a lot folks have moved onto the other Toyota hybrid offerings for good reasons.
