They had a security breach and sent out new passwords, I cant log in, anyone else? the prove you are not a robot questions , like sunglasses and you type in sunglasses and it says wrong answer<>??_(&%$@
One of their "sister" forums that I'm on did the same thing. New computer generated password is a mix of upper case, lower case letters, plus symbols and numbers. First password would not work so I asked for a different password to be sent to my email address. The second password finally did work. Stupid system!!!!
BTW, I now notice that the forum now had very few people on it now.
What benefit would there be in hacking a hosting service used by a bunch of marque-specific sites?
These sites can be a great source of information for prospective buyers and are also useful for diagnoses and repair advice, but what would there be to gain from hacking them?
How many sites where security actually matters allow the kind of simple, basic passwords required by sites like BITOG or the marque sites that were hacked?
Many and probably most users of sites of this kind post bogus and untraceable personal information anyway, or simply fail to give it.
