Toyota Corolla MTF

Can anyone recommend a good mtf for the 2006 1.8 5spd manual gearbox. Handbook says 75W-90 GL-4 or GL-5 and as I intend to keep the car forever I want to put in the best oil possible and change every 30k miles. I have in mind Mobil or Redline who both do synthetics in this viscosity but Mobil only GL-5.

I would go with:
Amsoil MTG 75W-90 GL-4

I would avoid differential fluids.

If you plan on keeping the vehicle forever, changing the gear oil ever 30k miles is a smart thing to do. It also makes the gear oil selection less of an issue. Any of the above will work well with that interval.
