Is it OK to use a socket extension when using a torque wrench, or will the extension twist when tightening and somehow mess up the amount of torque delivered?

Thanks.

AS long as you keep the socket, extension, and wrench nice and straight up-and-down on the nut/bolt, the reading will be good.

No problems with any normal tools.
Even if the extension DID flex rotationally, the final torque at the lug nut would be the same.
Just keep her pretty straight - common sense.
