Torque Test Channel: Folding Worklights

I've had the LED fail on the old M18 worklight and they warrantied no problem. May not have been the LED itself but they didn't care.

I run through at least 3 batteries per day on my RedLithium 2115 headlamp but the other RedLithium lights are virtually useless. They just don't have enough run-time to be really useful IMO

I'd rather just grab my old school M12 stick light and of course the underhood worklight with a 6.0 is a rock star.

I was given one of those braun hf lights as a gift a few years ago. I like the concept that the battery is replaceable and rechargeable.

I like the magnet and the size. But I’m not in love with it at all.

It runs maybe 15-20 minutes before being dead. The magnet isn’t quite strong enough. The folding design is interesting, but it never seems to fold to the angle I need.

Somits kind of cumbersome. But it’s smallish.. any larger of a body and ai hesitate to see the utility of any of these.

I do have a slightly smaller non folding light that has a magnetic end that I like better. And some Bosch 12v leds thst stick/hold better. My go to is my Milwaukee m12 lights, but various corded led lights are coming back into utility for me. Manage the cord and have endless light…

Imwoukdnt buy one of those folding lights with a giant body. Too cumbersome, imo. Too bad the Hf Braun one I have is a bit of a flop..
