Torque Options for Wrangler transmission pan bolts

Going to be doing a transmission pan drop on my Wrangler soon - thinking about getting a new torque wrench or torque adapter. Torque spec is 10-12nm or 88.5-106.2 in-lbs. The pan gasket is reusable (and has been reused once) so thought maybe a torque adapter could be nice so I could measure the torque on it and match that when I put it back together.

I have an Icon 1/2" drive one that I love but obviously way too high for this range. If I go the torque wrench route, thinking about getting this: https://www.tekton.com/1-4-inch-drive-dual-direction-micrometer-torque-wrench-trq50402

But open to other ideas! Last time I did a pan drop it was on my 05 Liberty, but with that I skipped the torque wrench and used RTV, so different world this time! Had to go around and re-torque that one a few times, so trying to avoid that this time.

That’s a good choice. I’ve got a similar wrench, just for transmission pans. With aluminum bolts, TTY bolts, and low torque values, “feel” is a poor option.

I have a 35 dollar epauto 1/4in drive torque wrench on amazon a while back specifically for transmission pans and water pumps. It saves the mental load of going by feel on those low torque fasteners, easily worth it to me.
You'll appreciate that tekton, it is surely higher quality than the one I have.
When putting pans back on I use a nut driver with my drill on the lowest clutch setting then go over them with a torque wrench in the appropriate pattern, saves a ton of time.

I like that it's 90T. I used to use a CDI which is nice but coarse tooth. The swing needed to catch another tooth is more annoying than you'd think.

Now I use a TechAngle which is nice

I believe a 1/4" torque wrench would be a great addition to your tool collection. I have a similar one.
