Great team like Toronto Blue Jays sweep Texas rangers right out. Heck of a game 3. I'm so happy as I remember when they won World Series in 92' and 93'

GO TORONTO!!

Is that the game played by 4 nations in the world? World series of a very small world..

Yes the American run MLB calls itself the World Series. In Soccer(football) the World cup really represents the world. If your a baseball fan or not the Blue Jays have done pretty well for the lone Canadian team and must get some Americans angry that we are doing well in Americas favourite pastime. Just like the Raptors in the NBA

Amazing game... I just about hit the roof when Donaldson slid home for the sudden death win.
Amazing amazing game!!!

Couldn't ask for a better Thanksgiving post dinner evening

Don't worry, my American Baseball fans. Toronto sports teams are kind of like New York sports teams ... loved in Ontario, hated elsewhere in Canada. We'll be cheering for whomever the Blue Jays face, whenever they face anyone, unless they happen to make it to the final World Series. Then we probably will line up patriotically.

But not before.

Doesn't make me angry. I miss the Expos. Does it bother you that a Canadian team hasn't won the Stanley Cup since 1993?

Just like it must make some Canadians angry that we are doing so well at Canada's favorite past time. Twenty-two straight Stanley Cup Champions. But who's counting?

It's sadder that the Expos left. If it wasn't for that darn strike...

Not too many people care about baseball anymore. Its fun to play but Loooooong and boring to watch. And if you look at the Blue Jays roster, more players are from California than Canada.

Re Baseball:
It's probably good to remember that the name "World Series" was coined in 1903, if not earlier. The "world" was smaller then.

Not to get too specific, but an announcer like John Sterling of the New York Yankees (who over-does things by design) super emphasizes the "Wwohhooolld Series Champions" etc. is when it gets painful.

Re Hockey:
Canada is so vast (sparsely populated) and so many more people live south of the border, I suppose it makes sense the game developed more down here.

This is why we should annex Canada and be done with it. Kira

There was nothing boring about the game last night.. It was a total nail biter. Although most regular season is pretty boring, 162 games, most of them are going to be pointless.

As far as a Canadian team not winning at hockey, half of the players in the NHL are from Canada, so although the cup is not here, the players from here are great. The opposite for baseball, most players are American. This must be nice for Russel Martin their catcher, he is originally from Toronto.

many tens of millions of americans would disagree with you on that.
as well, cali has more people than the entire population of Canada.

(maybe, not for long.a couple of days back,i read in a story that a new "potentially significant" fault was discovered that includes the LA area.along with the san andreas, elsinore, and san jacinto faults.the last major rupture of the san andreas fault was 300 years ago, when the average is 175-200 years.long overdue for the big one.)

True. I only mentioned the NHL to counter the mocking of the MLB Championship being called the 'World Series.' Because people think this is America declaring themselves as 'the World.' But the best in the World do come to play in the league. If you play baseball in Iceland, your dream is to play in the World Series, and if you're good enough you can. The NHL is just another good example. And yes, the Super Bowl is the world chamionship of 'American Football.'

Canadians dont care too much about baseball, Hockey season starts tomorrow.
With that being said, Go Lightning!!
