Torin Tool box??

I am looking for a new tool box and saw a Torin 56 inch black box at costco last month. It looked sturdy. But since I decided to look at Snap On before making up my mind Costco stopped carrying it!

I was told torin makes snap on boxes. Any truth to this? What are your opinions on this box? I found one at northern tool and one on ebay. About 1,400 shipped.

I've never seen one, but after looking at a bunch of images on the computer, I would have to say, in my opinion, they are probably not made by the same people as the Snap on boxes. I just don't see any similarities.

Not a bad lookin' box, though.

I have seen some cheap (shoddy) Torin boxes and some nice ones. I suspect the one you are looking at is one of the nice ones. It looked very similar in construction to the one at Harbor Freight that I like.

Harbor freight has the US Generals on sale right now. $400 bottom and $300 for the top. I bought my Craftsman box before I saw the US General boxes.

I am second guessing my purchase........The Generals look decent.

I actually found this box on craigslist here in phoenix for 1,400 brand new in black. I originally wanted a Steel Glide stainless box I spotted on ebay but had second thoughts about it getting dirty and that it was 1,700. Thanks for the responses.
