Took my first trip to Moab a couple weeks ago and it was a dream trip. Hired Robert Mick from Dan Mick's Jeep Tours to guide me on Fins and that was a great experience in itself, since he was there from the start of wheeling in Moab. Learned so much. Ran the north loop with him, and then ran the south loop on my own twice. Also did the Onion Creek trail (they were filming some movie out there), Gemini Bridges, La Sol mountains, Arches NP, and took a day trip to the four corners and Telluride. Stopped at Moab Motorsports and met Rory too, super nice guy.

Good photos, glad you had fun. I hadn't considered charging people to guide them.

Beautiful!

I’d love to go to Moab one day. Not sure a stockish XJ is up to the task though.

Thanks everyone!

You ran some good trails and there's no visible body damage. (y)

Nick, a stock XJ will do fine on a lot of the trails. A locker would help.
A stock XJ would be fine on Fins. I scrapped the rear bumper pretty good, but probably picked a bad line. Didn't touch the rock rails.
