Looks like they never removed the set clip on the steering bellows when they adjusted the inner tie rod! wow.. look! quality repair! what a joke. You can fix that yourself by remove the set clip and rotating the bellows back into shape. It might take a little penetrating oil if it's stuck to the tie rod.

^ yeah the rubber will be a little stuck to the tie rod but you can get in there with a pick or even the pointy end of a zip tie and liberate it. Clamp the clamp with a pliers and give it a twist till it looks good.

AT this point after their handy work I would not even trust them to know which way to wipe. Going to talk to customer service and ask for a refund.

If you don't give them a chance to correct first you probably aren't going to get a refund. Give it a try and see what they say. It's shoddy work but you can fix it in a minute.

Yep he should have lubed under the clamp with WD-40, or something. After taking the clamp off, then get the boot loose, then adjust tie rod. At least he did the toe...........

He should have never twisted the boot in the first place while adjusting toe. I would probably just untwist it myself.

Don't go back there. Since their pissed off, they may just " happen" to tear the boot....,,,,and then say..." oopsy ! " Kinda like when you go to a restaurant, and you're steak is rare, but you ordered it medium rare. Send it back to the chef,, you get the special sauce added ....you know what I mean.... Just loosen it up and turn the boot,,,,,while you still have an intact boot.
