So, I just watched the 2013 "Snake&Mongoose" movie. I remember some
Of the rivalry between the two and it seems obviously that Prudhomme was better. What say you folks?

I have "Snake & Mongoose" on DVD. Had to have it, because my brother and I had the Snake & Mongoose Hot Wheels funny cars. He had the Snake, I had the Mongoose. The way the movie portrays it, McEwen had the marketing smarts to pitch the Snake & Mongoose match race funny cars concept to Mattel. Prudhomme seemed to be content working in his father's body shop, and might not have become a touring professional drag racer if McEwen didn't put the deal together.

I went to my first drag race in 1964 and was hooked on the top fuel dragsters.
I thought Mongoose was better then.
The Snake was very good and a better businessmen.
Very hard to pick one over the other.

Thanks for the replies gentlemen
