Toilet paper filter disposal

I did a search on this but didn't find what I was looking for. How does one dispose of the used TP filter? How messy is is and can you let it sit and gravity drain or does it just fall apart? I would hate to be dumping them into the local land fill. I know my local auto shop takes my used spin on filters.

i too would like an answer to this. I'm sure only a % of the oil would drain out. Surely sombody has some innovative and easy way to squeeze the oil out. I have heard of people using them as fire starters to burn brush.

I usually take my used rolls to the lake when I fish and throw it in the lake (Just kidding).

Actually, they are a good fire starter. If burning the used roll up isn't an option then put it in a plastic bag of some sort and take to your local parts store. If you don't want to do that, then throw it in the trash.

I just take 'em in the baffroom and use 'em. No chapping here!
