Titanium oil additive

Titanium is unique and is stablized by the above chemistries.

Most metallorganic friction modifers are of the XoDTC or dithiocarbamate version.

Rumor has it that chemists are working on a DTC version of Titanium.

I don't think it's better, just another organometallic friction modifier and anti-oxidant like Moly DTC, Antimony DTC, Tungsten DTC, etc.
 
Several Ti(III)-DTCs were synthesized back in the sixties and were/are paramagnetic. In theory, they could magnetically stick to to Fe components. However, they tended to be easily oxidized. I had assumed that someone have finally found a stable one.
