Tire Weight vs Rolling Resistance

Thank y’all for all the dialogue. I ended up going with the BFG trail terrain ta+ XL rated. Looks like off the bat my mpg went up slightly. Got 18 mpg on the way there (27 miles away) and almost 19 on the way back. Much quieter and smoother driving. Let’s hope it stays that way. No noticeable difference in get up and go, but noticeable that the truck wants to keep on rolling a little longer after letting off the gas to stop.

Ended up going with these because at the end of the day there’s a 60 day replacement guarantee from BFG that I can resort to if they are terrible. They look pretty good too.

I log fuel economy with every tank in my '25 F150. Tire weight can have a significant impact on fuel economy as that's spun weight. Rolling resistance is a factor but a minor one in the grand scheme of things.
