That was the stock size on my 91 Landcruiser. Times definitely changeThe 31x10.5x15's on my Jeep that were very popular 15 years ago are now a special order.

The big point of contention will be over automation and efficiency at the docks, say the news reports.Significant shortages will occur due to ca likely US west coast port strike / lockout. Google it. Major importers (not of just tires) starting to stockpile due to this.
You didn’t read a single word I wrote.Imagine how many tires will come in with the US West Coast ports closed for 6 weeks.
Actually, owning a vehicle with 15" wheels has shown me it's a somewhat "abandoned size".
Those huge 17" to 24" tires have taken all the manufacturing equipment time! (ha-ha)
I've encountered very limited selections of fifteens in shops long before this era of disease aftershocks and profiteering.
As above, don't freak but maybe drop by and see what they have. You got time.
You’re not alone. I’m still in the 15” club.
For at least the 15" tire club.. I'll just come out and say it.. Amazon.com. Yes you can get tires. It's really not that bad. I just bought a set of P215/70R14's, 6 months ago... and I had my choice of multiple sets... and that was with whitewalls.
Several choices in blackwall as well. Uniroyal Tiger Paw AWP II is available in many of those older 14 and 15 inch sizes. WalMart also sells the Douglas All Season in many of those older sizes as well, at a decent price as well.
Put some BFGoodrich all seasons on that Beetle. Check Amazon for some tires bud. lol.. Merry Holidays.Really the only tires we have had issues getting is Michelin anything. The ones we can get the most of are MasterCraft and Uniroyal. Can’t say the reason that the guy from ATD said on here lol. That’s why we have been selling a ton of those Uniroyal lately. I just wish 165/80/15 weren’t so hard to get cause I need those for my beetle. Nexen has them which I don’t mind just wish there was more of a selection for brands. My trucks take 205/75/14 which has an ok selection but the Hankook ones I bought for it in 2018 don’t seem to be available anymore.
On our used cars they all get MasterCraft cause they are cheapest name brand we can get. Only had two sets that I’ve had to take off and replace with something else to get it to sell. Like a Silverado, guy said put me 4 Bridgestone Dueler white letters outside and I’ll buy it at the price it’s listed for here so we did. The other was on a Jeep had to replace MasterCraft with Falken Wildpeak for it to sell. So luckily there was no shortage of those either otherwise we may have lost the sales. And if there was a shortage of MasterCraft then who knows what we would use for the used cars probably Dunlop cause that’s what we get if MasterCraft doesn’t offer a certain size. ATD tells us 6-10 weeks for any Michelin tires doesn’t matter what it is. We don’t really have another distributor so we haven’t sold any Michelin recently. And according to what I’ve read is there is a rubber shortage but I’m not sure on that but then again what isn’t in shortage right now.
