Aerospace 303.

Not only does it NOT hurt the tire, but it is claimed to be a UV protectant. It lasts a fairly long time. And once it dries, it isn't greasy, so it doesn't attract dirt. The shine isn't over the top either. Very subdued.

Armor All Extreme Tire Shine. Love the stuff! Cheap and works great!

I've had 303 cause dry rot on plastic trim. I'll never go near the stuff again.

Aero cosmetics rubber care may be the winner you are looking for - it has a part number with Boeing for aircraft care. It’s water based and stays on far better than 303.

im between that and meguires endurance tire gel, which looks great and lasts a long time.

My experience has been exactly opposite. You could not pay me enough to get me to use any Armorall
protectant type product. Perhaps their products today are better than they used to be, but I still have vivid memories of Armorall creating dry rot on interiors all through the '70's and '80's. It surprises me to hear you say you use it, because I thought you were about my age, and I know no one from my generation that has anything good to say about Armorall.

I have never had dry rot problems with 303. Not only do I use it on my tires, but on plastic trim, wiper blades, rubber hoses, rubber belts. I am a dyed in the wool 303 convert. I credit it with extending the life of these parts.
protectant type product.

303 is gone the second water hits it.

Again, that has not been my experience. It survives a number of car washes for me. But then, I'm not a big fan of the super greasy, shiny type wheel dressings, so I'm not expecting that type of look to hold up.

I've never had any issues at all with Armor All products. I use the leather protectant (on all interior leathers and plastics) and started using their wheel cleaner and tire protectant. I'm 53 (started driving at 15, around 1984). Been using Armor All products off and on ever since. I always thought all the Armor All folklore was nothing more than urban legends (kind've like all the Pennzoil myths).
But the 303 is hands down the worst stuff I ever tried.
