Hello

I am looking for tire chains for my 2004 Honda Civic

Laclede lists the two different chains

1530 for P195/60R15
1535 for 195/60R15

the difference is the P what does the P stand for Passenger car? If so what type of vehicle does a non P tire go on?

I doubt your car lists P195/60r15 both on the tire, and the tire size/pressure sticker
thanks for the reply

this topic is confusing

Before I posted I read the tirerack article about P sizes. It says " Euro-metric and P-metric tires in the same size (i.e. P225/60R16 & 225/60R16) are equivalent in their dimensions with just slight differences in their load capacity calculations and inflation pressure tables."

So if P and non P are the same dimensions why are there two chain sizes listed?

I just checked the vehicle, the tiresidewall does not have a P however the door jamb sticker does have a P.

I'm still confused.
