Most timing chain motors are interference, I'm not sure why that's relevant

Usually that's only a concern for engines with belts for when the belt breaks.

But my cousin's sister's boyfriend's uncle's daughter's teacher's kid once had a chain snap, so all timing chains are bad and belts that are guaranteed to snap are better!!!

But they're expensive.

And usually noisier.

Depends on the quality level of the gears.
That's where the "expensive" part of it comes in.

You could get the 302 through the 1995 model year. 1996 introduced the Modular 4.6L...from Windsor or Romeo.

My dad had a '92 5.0 LX. What a fun little car that was. I learned to drive a stick on that car...difficult with a touchy clutch and a bunch of GT-40 parts in it.

My 95 Mustang has a Windsor 5.0. The 96-99 modulars all came from Romeo in the Mustang. Around late 99-early 2000 was when there was the incident at the Romeo plant and they started putting engines from Windsor Engine Plant in the Mustangs.
