Wind and Rain - cats, dogs and frogs Since saturday night. I put out a bucket in the driveway (not under trees) and sticked it today - 7.5 inches(!) and the storm continues to rage on all through today and tonight. Luckily I live on a hill not near the wetlands and swamps. If this was snow my old MTD snowblower would be kaput (and me with it!)

We had 5.6" as of early this morning and it's still raining pretty good now. The rivers are all over their banks. If this was the midwest or west instead of the swampy northeast we'd all be doomed by now.

HIGHEST STAGE ON RECORD.

OTHER SMALL STREAMS IN EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS ARE MOVING INTO THE TOP
5 EVENT BRACKET.

My bro in law is in Topsfield - in a little fancy neighborhood behind the Mobil station off the rt95 exit #50 something just before you get to rt 114 and rt 1.

I've got the ark built. Now I just have to gather two of each of the trillions of life forms on board and I'm ready to sail!

Just went to the end of our street down to the main rd intersection and its - GONE! The storm drain under the road gave out and undermined the road. Luckily I live on a horseshoe loop and have another way out.

Saturday night was unreal here. No idea what possessed my wife to park the Aerostar in the driveway closer to the street vs. the usual spot. The top of a tall Maple Tree in the neighbors side yard came crashing down into my driveway where the Aerostar is usually parked. The tree took out my fence, missed both my house and my neighbors house by inches. Had the Aerostar been there, I would never know if it will reach 200,000 miles or not.

I guess if there's ample crawl space to service the utilities ..and you've got a pole barn to store your "fine junque~" ..none.

..but traditionally it's one of 3 places that are specifically designated as "man space". The attic and garage are the other two. Now the garage can also be encroached upon, but you've got the advantage of filling it up first in most cases.

Workbench, Laundry room, Boiler room, well mate, plumbing and wiring chase, 275 gallon oil tank, large equipment storage, a place to hide during a hurricane, animal litter boxes, secret room(!) I have no garage. I think basement may be required by code up here on any 4 season home - all houses appear to have them.
