Should I grease my Moog tie Rods until grease escapes?



They could possibly already be greased as I spotted some green grease when installing the zerk, but it could not be enough.

You should grease them with a couple grease pumps, but don't have to grease them till grease escapes since being new they don't need to be flushed out. Are these Moogs with black boots that are sealed with a relief valve in the boot, and not just a loose fitting cup right?

It depends on the boot design. Some are well sealed, and too much grease will damage them. If not sealed, I'd pump them full.

If you are greasing before installing on the car go easy; the knuckle will press on the boot when it's in.

I usually go until I see motion in the boot.

I think it is wheel bearing grease.

Maybe I remember reading #2 but it has been so long since placing in the gun that its mostly guesswork.
