This is the plate on the pivot pins on a Kenworth 5th wheel, and this one just wasn't cooperating.

Liquid Wrench, heat, left handed drill bit, and an easy out failed to provide the desired results. So, I drilled it out and then ran a tap thru the hole. And, I got lucky.

On the plus side, four replacement grade 8 bolts cost 96 cents. The total bill was $9.87. Well, because Ya gotta have gummy bears and black licorice to go with them.

Safe enough for a snake When working in pits on well pumps I would occasionally find a snake trapped in the pit. I would box them up and release them on my property. I don't mind them nor does wife.
