Our fifth Great Dane, Harley, a rescue from a criminally abusive past. To say he was damaged goods is an understatement. He was a big project, a year long project, but at this point he was finally starting to trust humans. Here he is enjoying some lap time with Sue.

Wonder what type of oil he used on that tractor . Never got to operate a tractor or a combine but always wanted to.

Two old men loving each other in the backyard. Harley was 12. Here he is on his last day. RIP sweet boy!

Every dog I love more than the next. Comes with age.

I told my wife I love Juno so much. Two replies:

1) "You loved Chancho as much, even though his last year was tough on you."
2) "Figures. She's YOUR dog not mine. She is really bonded to you!" (kinda true, but I didn't ask for that she is OUR dog)

My Dad and his small dog a few years ago. Dad is in the nursing home with hospice.
My RN Daughter went to see him last night. Says he is actively dying and she doubts he will make
it through today. The dog is fine with my Brother.
