Is that a repurposed In-N-Out sign?
I've never been to nor seen a Chick-Fil-A, but I imagine that their outlets are much more modern than the one you've shown. Where is this place located?
Never, I mean NEVER loan out your hex key set. They will never return complete, if ever.Lucky you. My Allen key sets are like socks. One key always gets away.
I went to the memorial the first few months it was opened. It was a rainy and cloudy day, so the appearance of the squad was much more like it might have been in Korea. A very moving experience.
We went to DC over a dozen or so years ago. Absolutely loved it.

I was in the same boat, I remember my #, and going downtown to take my physical. None of my high school friends were drafter either. We went to DC over a dozen or so years ago. Absolutely loved it.
The Viet Nam War memorial moved me to tears. I was Class 1A in my Senior year in high school during the draft - ready and immediately available. Nixon wound down the war and I was never called up. So many names engraved on that long, stark, black wall. One could have been mine had things gone just a little bit different.
I went twice to the memorial. Once during the day, once at night. If you have the opportunity, go at night.
At night, there are small, 'tin' lights mounted flush in the walk, casting a faint light on the wall. With a black wall for the backdrop, and soft lighting, the effect was thousands of names seemingly just hovering in the air. It is a moving experience.
Babies are the best... Especially when you can give them back when they start leaking.
