Ham ends and pieces. Will rinse thoroughly, fry them up and use for ham, bean and potato soup soon at moms house 😍

^^AA+ recipe idea.
May I tell you an analogous one?
Get a ham bone and make a soup featuring the "rendered" ham bone. It makes a silky smooth treat. Vastly improved flavor.
I never knew how unbelievably grand a soup could taste.

A neighbor gave me a dinner ham they didn't complete so there was a bunch of meat on it.

Do your thing with those ham pieces. It'll be good.
Then get a ham bone.....the soup will blow your mind (and I don't use 'sixtysisms' often).

We do it simple: take ham bone with meat still on it, use it and potatoes and beans. Not into anything fancy. Sorry

I just got a 15 lb box of fresh vegetables out of the blue from my health insurance company. Fed Ex must have delivered it to the wrong house on Saturday as I didn't see it until Sunday. Looked it up on FedEx and they showed proof of delivery on some unknow looking porch. So whoever got it must have brought it over and dropped it off. Anyway I had a three year old aged 2" thick strip steak so I made some beef vegetable soup. Cleaned out some of my spices too, cumin and curry.

Homemade pea soup is great for ham and bone. Easy to make too.
