Put new rear struts in my boss's 2011 Expedition EL "Big Bertha". 297k miles on this beast, it's an absolute tank. Runs and drives surprisingly well. Starting to burn some oil though. These Monroe Quick-Struts will be fine until she replaces the car. The last struts were totally blown out after like 100k miles. Pretty easy job.

I went for a drive through Sonoma County

There were lots of behemoths on the freeway today

You gotta go when you gotta go

I came upon Francis Ford Coppola's winery. Th weather was not great and the light was bad but the traffic was worse. So I decided to check it out in the hope of seeing the Tucker. I have seen the Tucker many years ago and there are no pictures of the Tucker in this post. I will post them later. Here are a few pictures of the winery.

The backlit main gate. Welcome to Jurassic Wine Park!

That's a public pool. Open to anyone during the warm months. You must rent a cabin to gain pool access.

Old-fashioned changing rooms with a private cabin and shower

A sarong? Right!

Try some wine!

Getting out of there

Please come back tomorrow to see the enormous Tucker.

The original Academy Award letters for the the winner of Best Director for The Godfather and for The Godfather Part II.

Is that out behind your property? Nice ducks
No that's west of us in Ferndale, WA. maybe 20 miles west or so. Tons of wetlands there.

That's a Blue Heron, the closest I ever got to one frankly. They are LARGE birds. Sometimes they fly over our house towards the mountain. I cannot figure that out. Maybe there is some trapped water or just some pools in creeks all up in there.
