In the first picture with all the garb on she looks straight out of Hollywood. Those that survived after the war must have been brimming with confidence especially at 22 and flying those planes.

I know several Slades from the UK... Are you Irish.. English

My Los Angeles Angels hat arrived today. Only my second American League hat. I’ve never cared for the American League but now both leagues are equal since both adopted the DH now unfortunately. The Angels were good when they had Albert Pujols but that’s about it. If they trade Shohei Ohtani then they have absolutely no hope for the future. The bill on this hat is a little bit out of shape but
I’m not one to complain so I’m just going to try to get it back to the right spot. It’s a little bit misaligned.
 
I've had "Make Pastrami" on my bucket list for a while now (high roller over here!), and finally got around to doing just that.

I trimmed and then corned a full brisket for ten days. After that, I smoked it low and slow (around 250 degrees) for roughly twelve hours, then held it at 155 degrees for another twelve hours. It came out well for a first try, and I made some really good Reubens with it (y) 🤤
