Any idea what year this was taken? I’ve been to his restaurant a couple of times in Carmel. It was called the Hogs Breath. I’ve been a lifelong fan and I saw every Premier showing of his earlier movies. My dad was the manager of the Star Theater which is a historical site in Oceanside, California. He would routinely receive 8x10 black and white glossies of Clint Eastwood that would be worth a fortune today. I met one of the costars ‘Andy Robinson‘ of the original Dirty Harry movie. Man, I took so much for granted back then.

if you used to all comfort of modern living amenities and may take them for granted, you may not find them all there

however, if you're into a great climate, scenery, food, and people, well they all are there to be found, apparently for the longest time too ;)

No, but I speculate the photo is not that old. I liked he was driving a older Mercedes
 
In 1960, there were 475 drive-in movie theaters in Texas. There were more than 40 in the Dallas-Fort Worth area alone. Texas was actually the greatest state for drive-ins. You could take a drive on, say, Highway 80 from Fort Worth to Abilene and you'd see drive-ins in Weatherford, Mineral Wells, Eastland, Ranger etc... and then, west of Abilene, you'd have Pecos, Big Spring and on and on. All of those towns had drive-ins despite the heat, cold, dust and whatever else mother nature could throw at moviegoers.

An underrated actor in my opinion...thought he was great in the Deep Space 9 Star Trek series.
