had a ditch mower I made from a Craftsman 22” - self propelled big wheel - I’d offset the wheel heights + added a 25# barbell weight to one side of the deck … ran lag bolts into tires for traction 😜

Interesting that with a June 2022 production date it’s Made in Mexico and no silicone ADBV. My vote: rip off ie FAIL

Yesterday was a road trip day.

Americana at its finest

We begin on fresh-as-a-daisy blacktop. What a fragrance. If they ever make an aftershave called Le Macadam I'm in for sure!

Down the road we go

A truck had tripped and stumbled off the road like a drunken sailor.

Let's get some locally-made cheese.

A cheese trove. Choose wisely! Brie is my poison.

There's a picnic area by the pond next to the Marin French Cheese Company. If you want to see the massive cheesecake that I ate all by myself you know in which subforum thread to find it.

We are driving to Bolinas and find some more Americana

Way up high in Bolinas we have a good view looking at Stinson Beach.

We drive to Stinson Beach and get a coffee because driving is exhausting. ;)

Found a pic of a Ranger my dad had in the early 00's. My family owned a collision repair shop and my dad bought this at an auction. It was a rollover that rolled down an embankment onto its roof. He fixed and and figured while fixing it, why not put prerunner fenders and bedsides on it. He custom made a tube front bumper and an in-bed tire carrier, rear bumper, trailer hitch combo. Was a nice truck. He put some sticker graphics on the sides too after he took this pic.

Forgot to mention he built a full roll cage from scratch for it, was powder coated to match the bumpers.

The field in post #9,092 is correct as the flag's hoist side is "into the wind".
It'd be the same on an aircraft's vertical stabilizer's starboard side. The port side would have the field in the upper left.
Flags on poles are directionally self-orienting in the breeze. One-sided flags used on vehicles and uniforms have to necessarily come in regular and reversed to achieve the same impression of forward motion. I'm sure someone is going to ask if the French flag is always displayed in reverse.
