Man, the bikes just don't stop coming
Which is fine, as long as they don't come crashing into me
On the left, the new (last week) '22 BMW G310, on the right is a '19 Honda Rebel 300
Both about $5500 new, both have ABS, the BMW a little more modern with LED lighting and a fancier screen/dash
I prefer the BMWs 3/36 warranty

Kids these days have it real nice, EFI and lack of oil leaks
If their first bike experiences were AMF era Harley's, they'd have stuck to cars 😳

But nothing escapes my pre trip inspection skills 😲

Shame, it's a '19 with only ~800 miles on it, but it's gonna need a new tire

I assume bike tire rules are the same as car tires?
Age out after 6 years, no plugs, patch maybe depending on location?
I'm gonna tell him to just buy a new tire, I don't trust it

Oops lol. Two new ones on the way under the lifetime warranty. Had a really stuck lug nut that was aftermarket wheel so I had to use a 3/8 chrome socket to be able to fit and used my 1/2 gun. After I snapped these we told the people that they need to go back to Valvoline where they had their tires rotated and have them deal with it because we couldn’t get the lug nuts to budge. I honestly thought the socket would have busted before the adapters lol. I’ve only broken these adapters by hand.
Time to start buying better tools, or to stop abusing yours.

Using a 3/8” chrome socket with a 1/2“ impact is just abusive. No wonder they break.

Oil on the top of the engine of the Escape. It’s been leaking awhile. I soaked up what i could of these puddles and sprayed lots of brake cleaner. Trying to figure out where the leak could be. I know it’s not the valve cover gaskets as i already fixed them three years ago and I’ve already checked they aren’t leaking. That oil has been puddling for months now. Probably since summertime. You should see the bottom of the engine lol. If I liked working on Fords I would look at it when I had time but I don’t want to fix a Ford if I don’t have too.
