On an even more positive note, since they last tinkered with my computer gear I have not gotten any ads or "How can I help you today?" pop-ups that pester me on some sites. It's a miracle. The reaction options weren't sufficiently nuanced anyway. I also lost the Report button - but I would never use that in the first place.

Try deleting all your cookies. Have not heard of anyone else saying they have lost the report and like buttons. You must still have the reply button, yeah? I'd think that only Admin here could take away any of your functionality, not anyone beyond this website.
