Sorry guys I'm new around here. Why is it that we're not allowed to discuss gas prices in our respective areas?
Or is it just no pictures of fuel price signs?
I'm referring to what it says in this thread title.
Thx:)

This was back in Dec of 1982. My senior year in HS. If you look closely I had on my Genesse Beer can knitted hat on. LOL This was my 68 Impala Custom with a 225hp 327 and turbo 400. I paid $400 for it in 1976. I wanted to get a motorcycle but mom and dad said no to that, but I could get a car. Got it from the original owner with 77k miles on it. Since this is bitog, the original owner ran nothing but Quaker State Deluxe in it. When I tore it apart to rebuild it, it was super clean inside. Had the engine rebuilt at 100k due to popping up through the carb at high RPM, cause was the typical rounded cam lobs that they had. So I rebuild it back with a blue printed Crane Cams 300hp cam. Later on at 180k miles the lifters went bad and so I replaced them and added "double hump" 300hp heads. From that day on I couldn't use regular or it would ping like crazy. Sadly it fell to the PA salt and the trunk rusted pretty bad and I sold it. If I knew then what I know now I would have kept it and fixed it.

Dad was a guard at a reservoir in upstate NY during WWII
Before his enlistment and subsequent deployment to Anzio, my dad was one of several guards at a reservoir in upstate NY. Our government was concerned about sabotage to our water system.

It's not well known that three groups of German saboteurs landed on our shores in 1942 and, while they were mostly caught quickly some made it as far inland as Cincinnati. There was a very real danger. Here's a link to one article about the events:

So much history that you don't hear about. Thanks for sharing!

Nice ride in southwestern Oklahoma today. Some parts were tougher than others but all in all, a great day of riding.

My sweet baby girl Dixie lab. Hard to believe she’ll be 6 this year. She loves that pillow lol. Must love it more than the other one she chewed to shreds lol. I got her some new treats today some rawhide which she hasn’t had before. She will be closely watched with it as I’ve read bad things about it. And another shin bone and more Milk Bone and more food. Spent about $100 on her lol. The other $20 went to pens for me and mom I got her some she liked and some I like.
